CEZ spokesman Ladislav Kriz said the company would submit a detailed bid for SE within "a few days or weeks." The decision of the Slovak government had been expected, he added.
PwC senior manager and project manager for the sale, Peter Mitka, couldn't comment on the reaction of the existing bidders to the idea of reopening the tender process. The government had a right to change the procedure and new circumstances arose that would lead to two sets of bidders, one for both nuclear and conventional assets and the other for the conventional power production assets alone.
